TRAINING -
Since his graduation from the Australian Technical Institute of Fashion Design (from where he was the first male student to successfully graduate in the history of the institute) and his further training at the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York, his career track has been an eclectic one, forging into every related area of fashion- a voyage of self-discovery that finally culminated in a return to base-fashion design.
HIS DEFINITION OF STYLE -
According to Hemant style something that speaks all about you personality and your life style, it is something that is generated by your attitude to influence others and not an essay thatyou can copy on getting infuenced by someone else’s style. An das he has a very blunt view on style, he believes that since are the one to wear the clothes, you are the one who has to pay for it, so you should be the one to make a choice which your own and personal, not copied or borrowed. He frames fashion designers as the helping hands for the people they are just the giude to turn your choice into clothes and even better.
ACHIEVEMENTS -
i) He was regarded as one of the 58 great designers for his wondreful collection at the Lakme IndiaFashion Week – 2003.
ii) Got the privilege to design the costumes at the national as well as the international level for variousbeauty pageants and models.
Today, Hemant is the Fashion Director and Head Designer at Sheetal, India’s leading fashion store. He has also been associated as Design Professor-Fashion Department of the S.N.D.T. University at Mumbai, for the past 15 years.
FUTURE PLANS -
(i) Plans to launch his collection at Riyadh in the Harvey Nichol’s exclusive extremely exclusive store.
(ii) Plans to launch a new and totally sensational of watercolours at the finale in collaboration with his friend Wendell(designer). And for this ha has cocentrated on thrre things, three seasons actually – the hot weather, the cool weather and the wet weather.
IT”S VERY-VERY HOT –
For this he chose, Rajasthan a really hot place.Is’nt it? And there he plyaed with different gentle elements of water. He has highlighted the wonders of ‘badla’ and ‘mukaish’ by using a lot of tattooed bodies.
COOL ICE COOL –
In this every single colour is chosen under strict scrutiny of Hemant, ,like the blues, pinks, red peaches of the cosmetics are here. Saris are under the spotlight since the focus is evening wear.
WET WEATHER –
The theme here clearly signifies monsoons, the rain, so western outfits have enjoyed priority and innovation. But to link and add an Indian touch the bangles can be heard on the stage, that means the models will be wearing the bangles.
The contribution of this great designer to the India Fashion scene can not be denied So this was just a small intro of HEMANT TRIVEDI – Ace couturier, choreographer, fashion stylist, design professor, dedicated perfectionist and undoubtedly one of India’s most important designers. One interesting thing that you all must know about Hemant is that though Inernational labels pursued him but still he wanted to be identified as an Indian designer because he was born on the Indian land and innate sense of the exotic India.Hemant becomes the first and only Indian designer amongst the seventeen European labels presenting their ideas for Spring-Summer 2000 at the August Collection Premiere Düsseldorf ‘Profashional’ shows.
Hats off to such a great designer and his breathtaking presentations.

We are very pleased to talk to you if we could have your mail address.I and my sisters,both of us are artist ,we do paintings on fabric like pure silk,crapes,cottons and also using different kind of fabrics which are mostly pure not artificial. We are working from since last 7 years and also having our own workshop at my house, we are painting kurtis,salwar kameez,sarees,gents kurtas and kurtis too. We have done exhibition which includes painted cloths with heavy hand work done and used a different designer touch to make all exclusive collection.
We are working and making our stuffs exclusive, we need not use any kind of pencil work or tressing done or not using any printing on cloths,we make all paintings direct on fabric with brushes only.We would like to have some conversation with you if you think that we are having some different thoughts to put in to fabrics.
