Making Indian Fashion Global

Making a global importance in any field is not easy but now including Indian IIT industries, fashion industry is also coming forward slowly and doing International business. Indian designers like Abu Jani, Sandeep Kosla, Manish Malhotra, Hemant Trivedi, Ritu Beri etc are making there mark in the fashion world internationally. Many of them have there stores in countries like U.K and U.S.A.

Many Hollywood celebrities love to wear the Indian designers creations. As stunning French star Sophie Marceau in the latest James Bond movie, `The World Is Not Enough’. She tried out gold salwar-kameez in the movie designed by Abu Jaani and Sandeep Khosla.

Sophie Marceau is a regular visitor and customer of these duo Indian designers at London.
Abu-Sandeep are not the exception in popularizing Indian designs.

Delhi-born Hemant and partner Didier Lecoanet have launched the fashion house’s spring-summer 2000 collection based on the traditional designs of Orissa, an eastern Indian province. This duo have succeeded in conquering French market and now they are heading towards Europe.

And this business relationship is not only one sided but many of the International designers take interest in the Indian fabrics, Embroideries, cuts and Embellishments. Designers such as Jean-Paul Gaultier has been using Indian fabrics,India is a major exporter of fabrics and accessories, offering competitive prices and short delivery schedules.

The plus point which they find along with the difference in style is the cost of manufacturing and raw materials, and a vast and relatively inexpensive skilled work force.

India has difference of work style and natural fabrics in every state As you move as you can get the Bandhani in Rajasthan and can get the Gurjari work in Gujrat nearby so there are lots of variation in the look and one more important thing is Indians are using the natural fabrics like Pure cotton, silk and chiffons other then this jaquards, moss crepes and georgette sheers of Surat.

Sarees of India are also making there space in western countries as a unique party dressing.These estimates of exports from India to foreign countries can surely proove the increase in Indian fashion Industries.
