I never knew one could see Fall colors in Ooty. Are you sure no creative software has been used to color the leaves? :-)

Ah, beautiful. I don’t recognise any of them except Manali Pass and the pic doesn’t look right. I can’t think of anywhere along there that was forested like that (too high) with such a narrow fenced road - and the house doesn’t look Indian. I was, however, stuck on that road during a snow storm, and i can attest to the magnificence of it. Most beautiful road that I have ever travelled on…

These photos are spectacularly beautiful. It really is too bad that the people that doubt that these pics are from India don’t try googling photos of the locations to research them before automatically spewing falsehoods. Some of the locations appeared a bit off, but hey, what d’ya know, I found websites that showed the areas from a slightly different point of view–and ya’ know what? They’re from India!!! I was quite surprised to see the amount of snow that Gulmarg receives–for some reason I believed India received only small amounts of snow, until I realized that it was near the Himalayas. I’m very happy these photos have been posted to show those of us that cannot travel there how beautiful the country really is.
