Many of you are familiar with the M&BG label but we doubt how many among you know the people actually behind the label. We would like to take this opportunity to present the people behind the famous label of M&BG the designer couple Manju and Bobby Grover. They are among the few lucky couples to stand against the test of the time perfectly. The notable success stories of the creative journey of the couple in the fashion arena are many to name a few we can count on the Ladakh collection in Turkey, Japanese collection in the year 1994 and their spring / summer collection at the Wills Lifestyle India fashion Week.
Manju and Bobby were attracted to each other instantly and their romance went on in the confines of their workplace. The dating continued for the three long years and finally culminated in the nuptial knot in the year 1990 after the successful show put up by Bobby. Manju is an extrovert lady, and wanted to be in control while bobby is calm easygoing and introvert type who is also a perfectionist. Soon the hunger o creativity engulfed each of them and they came out with the separate brands Manju Grover and bobby Grover. Soon the conflicts arose on the professional front due to the availability of small workforce and the staff. The Duo decided to merge their activities and this is how the label M&BG emerged.
The couple claims that two heads are always better than one to handle any situation. Meanwhile Bobby handles the business part of the action while the labor is handled exclusively by Manju. As far as the mood of creation is depended Manju is inspired by the travels and the mood and it reflects in her creations while Bobby needs a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere for his creations. About the institution of the marriage both of the view that there should be understanding and love if there is some problems in the relation then it should not be cut abruptly, it should be provided with some time to rejuvenate again, if not possible then to honor the parental commitments the couple should stay together.
They Love their daughter Tanya very much and both want their young sibling grow and mature in a firm ground. The couple’s dreams for the future revolve around their professional hopes. Bobby is desirous of doing painting, meditation and more of traveling, on the professional front they want to promote further the recently introduced home and jewellery and further expands to the other major cities over the world.
