We often do listen and say “don’t-worry, be happy”, but how many of us are actually following this? Hardly any of us. According to some psychiatrists happiness is the sentimental part of our health. If you are happy then you will be able to be more creative and be able to solve the problems more efficiently. Happiness is the inner feeling, and it exists around us, we just need to identify and feel it.
1. Know yourself– Know that, what are the things that give you happiness? Do not try to act as happy just for the sake of friendship or any other relation. Believe me, finding out happiness for ones own self is not called selfishness, because until and unless you are happy you can not make others happy.
2. Try to know your likes and dislikes, because it is possible that your likes and dislikes change with age. It may be possible that the work that you once liked might bore you today.
3. Maintain your self-respect, and believe that you can also do better jobs. If someone complements you then accept the complement with a smile and ‘thank you’, this will make you happier.
4. Make a list of such works that make you feel happy. While making this list do not bother whether the work is big or small, just make it.

5. For killing stress many people search for happiness and some people find happiness as a means of entertainment. Like watching a movie, shopping etc. are a means of instable happiness, so do such works that provide you soul satisfaction.
6. Everyday do at-least one such work that makes others happy. Like you can share someone’s sorrows, helping your colleagues. Researches have shown that by giving happiness to other one can feel an incomparable satisfaction.
7. In your daily routine always meet people with a smile, then you will see that people you meet also talk to with a feel of happiness. Actually this smile makes them feel that you respect them.
8. No one has control on time and life, so you should try to accept the situation that comes forth with happiness. It is believed that sorrows are not actually the cause of any particular circumstance instead it is the result of our own responses, and mindset. So, always try to control your thinking in the right way.
9. Do not compare yourself with others. Because every person’s priority are different and hence are different their meaning for happiness. This meaningless comparison causes unwanted stress and depression in you. What you have others may not have the same, so do not underestimate yourself. Love yourself, only then others will respect you.
10. Come closer to people who are optimistic and lively. Because such people will make you smiles with them.
So, stay happy and make others happy!
