You must have heard that our body is our temple. We need to take ample care of our body so that we can stay healthy and happy. And in order to stay healthy it is most important to have a healthy diet. Here is how!

• Nutreint rich foods: You will be surprised to know that in order to stay ehalthy and to have ample intake of nutrients you neeed to have 40 different nutrients for good health. So in order to not to have a nutrient deficiency, you should include bread, whole grain products, fruits, vegetables, dairy products, meat, fish and other protein foods in your daily food selection.But surely the decision that how much you should eat depends upon your calorie requirement.
• Enjoy eating whole-grains etc etc.: Some of the surveys have shown that the Americans do not eat the required amount of these foods. Well, do you even eat 5-12 servings from the bread, rice, pasta or cereal, 3 of which should be whole grains? So, if you do not enjoy some of these at first then just give them another chance, just flip the pages in a good cook book.
• Healthy weight: The optimum weight for you depends upon your height, age and sex. And there are many harms of a disbalance in weight like excess of fat increases the possibilities of high blood pressure, heart related problems, may be some types of cancer and other serious illness. And even having too less weight can pose problems for you. So, if you are undergoing through any such problems then consulting a registered dietician.
• Regularity: Here regularity is relevant with your meals, never skip meals because that is what leads to an uncontrollable hunger. LIke it happens that at such time you opt for snackng something tempting but do not oversnack as you know it will create problems.
• Do not give up your favorite food even if it is unhealthy but just have it less often.
