Anklets - Stylish and Fashionable

An anklet is an ornament that is worn around the ankle, and by women and that too generally in one leg. Well, there is nothing new with the anklets apart from the fact that the designs and style of the anklets have been changing that is what we term as fashion. I am saying so because these anklets have been worn by unmarried women since centuries.
These are worn in India as well since time immemorial by single women as a stylish piece of jewelry.
There are many types of anklets available today they may be made of leather, silver, gold, bronze, threads, beads, etc and many more. Thought he anklets made of gold are usually worn by the very royal families. Also some people have a belief that in gold resides the goddess Laxmi so they do not wear it in legs.
Anklets are beautifully embellished with the beads, jingles, etc. They may also have symbol like that of animals, flowers, love etc. or even friendship.
Now-a-days as anklets are getting highly fashionable so they are being manufactured in number of styles, designs, etc. that are simply bound to attract the buyers towards them. They are made purposely to be worn anytime, anywhere. Like they can be worn in parties, dances, religious attempts, festivals etc.
Now, many of you ,might not be knowing that the anklets are to be worn in the right leg. Actually this is a result of a statistics whereupon it was released that about 89% women wear the anklets in their right leg while only 11% wear it in their left leg.
Also wearing an anklet in the left ankle symbolizes being a hot wife, or cuckold lifestyle. So, just avoid wearing it in the left ankle.
