Fashion Crimes

February 22, 2008

I know you are a criminal, don’t try to hide it from me because I have already caught you. Yes you there, stop! Oops, I made you afraid, well am not accusing you of nay social crime actually, but still you are a criminal, how? You are a suspect of fashion as you have committed a fashion crime.
I agree fashion is wholly a personal property and you have a right to wear what you like. But whatever you wear your ultimate purpose behind is to look good and attractive, isn’t it? So don’t you think that’s some of your mistakes which when repeated every time deserve to be titled as a crime against fashion?

Since some of you might not be aware of what these crimes/mistakes are, here is a list of five such mistakes.
(i) Sometimes we tend to dress ourselves in dresses too young for us. Like a woman at her thirty would try to fill her closet with the waist bands and sweater that are goofy. But remember there are a plenty of options available for each and every age group and hence you need not pop behind the fashion that is meant for some other age group.

(ii) Many people have a tendency to buy cheap attire. All of like to save money but doing it by buying cheaper clothes isn’t a smart way for that. Just think over it with a cool mind. When you spend on clothes you get the instant value for it that you can enjoy for a longer period. And on the contrary when you buy cheaper clothing they tend to tear, wear off even on not being worn often. This goes especially for those clothes that you are to wear daily, because they need durability which you will find in quality clothes.

(iii) All of us want to look different and stylish and this is what makes us change our style every now and then. I agree that it is good to try something different, but then these experiments should have in them a convenient gap at-least. So you should be smart at shopping for the latest trend, and invest in them not at once for all, instead slowly. Keep buying fresh from the street at some intervals.

(iv) Many people have a misconception of fashion that it is more about adopting what is new forgetting what actually suits you. They are wrong, because fashion speaks more of you and your own style not just the ones adopted from somewhere. There is a line that every trend is not meant for every one. Just think over this line and you will have the right choice before you. So, invest in apparels that makes you feel great, smart, attractive in comfortable. Because clothes that are though in fashion but do not equip you with these factors are useless.

(v) One more mistake that some of us commit is getting stuck to one particular trend, no matter what is better around us for us. So do not be rigid regarding your choice, try new things may be possible that they may accentuate your looks to an extent and in a manner never before. So keep trying new things at some time gap. This way you will have a closet which has clothes for every occasion.
